Description
Boneyard Beach on Bulls island is part of the Cape Romaine National Wildlife Refuge. Very near Charleston South Carolina. No one is allowed to camp overnight on the island thus sunrise is kind of a rare event for many. These sunrise photography expeditions are timed to coincide with low tide. The refuge itself encompasses about 66000 acres. Aside from the sunrise the island is a mecca for birders, wildlife enthusiasts and just beachcombing enthusiasts looking for shells and sand dollars that you wont find washed up on most tourist beaches.
Photo was taken with a Sony mirrorless camera converted to the infrared spectrum. I then worked on it in several software programs.
Rustic scene will look great on canvas, metal or fine art print. Note card, greeting card is suitable for framing.
