Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Artist's Description

A 100 year old oak that graces the grounds of a plantation near Charlestown South Carolina. This National Historic Landmark features Americas oldest landscaped gardens.First settled in the late 17th century with the main family residence being constructed in 1705. One of the more remarkable facts of this place is that the Middleton family has maintained stewardship for over 320 years.
Many of the descendants have figured notably in our countrys history from a signer of the Declaration of Independance to a signer of the Ordinance of Secession. In between were a Governor of South Carolina and a Minister Plenipotentiary to Russia.
During the Civil War the plantation and home were ransacked and burned by Union troops. Slaves and workers were able to hide and save many of the items that are now on display in the museum. Over the years descendants have returned furnishings, portraits, keepsakes and historical documents that help preserve the flavor of that period in time.

About Jim Cook

My body of work ranges from photographic digital art to the more traditional use of a camera photographing scenes of landscapes and everyday life. My photography has its roots going back to my experiences with infrared film. It was there that I saw how an image could be manipulated to something much more different than what was first seen. I still compose some photos from the infrared spectrum only now I use a camera converted to IR. When digital came along it was an easy move to software and all the possibilities that were and are now possible with their use. Still the initial composition in camera is paramount and once the shutter is closed and image transferred to computer, I can turn my imagination loose and enhance or create...
