Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Driving into Gatlinburg Tennessee one of the first attractions you would have noticed was a charming chapel set against a backdrop of big leafy trees. I say would have because the wildfire of November 29th 2016 burned it to the ground. Wind gusts of 70 mph fanned flames in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park destroying thousands of homes and businesses and killing 14 people. This was one of the most popular chapels in the area sometimes called Cupids Chapel of Love and was a southern alternative to the far more distant and glitzy Las Vegas. Folks came from adjoining states to exchange vows or to remake them. The people of Gatlinburg are rebounding and a recent visit there confirmed it. More of my work from Tennessee can be viewed in my collection by the same name here in FAA.

I still compose some photos from the infrared spectrum only now I use a camera converted to IR. When digital came along it was an easy move to software and all the possibilities that were and are now possible with their use. Still the initial composition in camera is paramount and once the shutter is closed and image transferred to computer, I can turn my imagination loose and enhance or create...
