Description
This image was made by compiling 4 different photos of flowers I photographed while in the Chihuahua desert. All from within the Big Bend National Park of Texas. The park is located in West Texas, but the desert is shared between Mexico and the United States with 90% of it belonging to Mexico.
The flowers I chose for this compilation were the Octillo, sometimes called Desert coral and Jacobs staff. Desert marigold also known as Desert baileya provided some yellow. Texas blue bonnets, or lupines are the state flower of Texas and are sometimes called Buffalo clover or wolf flower. The final addition to this was the Prickly pear cactus giving it some of my favorite color, red to the mix.
Will make a wonderful gift to decorate someone's home or office.
