Description
After a long day of shooting in and around Death Valley California, we were heading back to our lodging. This scene not far from the village known as Stovepipe Wells came into view. Tired as we were, I found this to enticing to simply drive by.
Nature provides such diverse landscapes here in the desert, from sand dunes, mountains, oases, salt basin, ghost towns, abandoned mine sites and wildflower blooms from spring rains. Amid the dramatic scenery it is also a land of extremes featuring heat, dry, barren areas.

Surprising blue scene from Death Valley - I have stereotyped that all images will be gelds, reds and hot. This sir lovely cool image with great interesting foreground treatment. Also like the layers you captured.
