Begin a slow drive upwards. Picnic areas and walking trails are inviting but go just a bit further till you see a Park Ranger’s shed. Pay the $1.00 entrance fee and be transported into a lovely serene setting of forest and brook.
Walk through the wetlands over old wooden bridges into an aged hardwood forest or through the pine trees that have laid down a carpet of needles for you to walk on.

The sound of flowing water over slight elevations is soothing and also very picturesque. A dam and waterfall is also nearby.
Sugar Hollow Park has all the amenities you come to expect whether you are hiking, picnicking, camping or using the recreation fields.

My body of work ranges from photographic digital art to the more traditional use of a camera photographing scenes of landscapes and everyday life. My photography has its roots going back to my experiences with infrared film. It was there that I saw how an image could be manipulated to something much more different than what was first seen. I still compose some photos from the infrared spectrum only now I use a camera converted to IR. When digital came along it was an easy move to software and all the possibilities that were and are now possible with their use.
