Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

On a recent trip to Alaska we took a day trip to Seldovia an island that was once the fishing capital of the world. Along the way is Gull Island about twenty minutes from Homer Spit where we departed from. Gull Island is a huge rock with craggy faces and cliffs. In this safe bird sanctuary are several species of birds that during the summer months build nests, and chicks out. Among the species are Pelagic Comorants,Red faced Comorants, Horned Puffins, Black Winged Kittiwake, Common Mure, Glaucous-Winged Gulls, Tufted Puffins, PigeonGillemot. As many as 20,000 seabirds build nests here with hundreds of seagulls among them. This is the most visited seabird rookery in the bay. Owned by the Seldovia Native Association. Public is not allowed on shore. The Pratt Museum does have a camera on site that provides a live feed. Even though you do not go ashore you do get close enough to be overwhelmed by the sound of so many birds in one place, the island itself is to me a kind of magical, mystica...

About Jim Cook

Jim Cook

My body of work ranges from photographic digital art to the more traditional use of a camera photographing scenes of landscapes and everyday life. My photography has its roots going back to my experiences with infrared film. It was there that I saw how an image could be manipulated to something much more different than what was first seen. I still compose some photos from the infrared spectrum only now I use a camera converted to IR. When digital came along it was an easy move to software and all the possibilities that were and are now possible with their use. Still the initial composition in camera is paramount and once the shutter is closed and image transferred to computer, I can turn my imagination loose and enhance or create...
