Description

These mountain peaks are located in Southwest Utah in the town of Springdale Utah. This particular spot is a favorite of photographers in the know. Sunrise here plays like magic on the mountains and photographers arrive early to stake out their position. Some of those are seen here in the field just after sunrise. The field itself is behind a museum situated just before the entrance to the park.
For this photo I wanted to create a softer feel to play against the rugged landscape of Zion National Park and did this by adding some texture with lavender and muting the natural colors just a little bit.
