Description
An historic structure located on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Over a century old this iconic landmark is one of the most photographed southern buildings that graces calendars every year.
This not only was a gristmill grinding flour but because of the builders foresight in harnessing 2 streams he was able to power a saw mill and bark stripper.
Other buildings on the ground are a Blacksmith shop and structures that were prevalent at that time in history.
