Description
This larger than life statue named Daedalus after the Greek mythological craftsman whose statues were said to come alive. Most likely because he was the first Greek artist to sculpt statues with one foot in front of another.
The Polish Artist, Igor Mitoraj, donated his work to Italy after a one year display of it near the entrance to Pompei and the archeological cite of this once famous Roman City destroyed and buried under a mountain of ash.
