Description
Driving along the road in Zion National Park I spotted this female sheep standing alone. Soon enough a few more darted across the road and this male joined her side. They nuzzled necks at first then watched as other motorists stopped to view or photograph them. They were as intent on the spectators as the spectators were of them.
You never know exactly what you will see in this park since the wildlife are all protected and have little fear of the public. I was completely enthralled with Zion and the only comparison I had was to Alaska. From my view Alaska is magnificent and colorful with the main difference being that Zion is right in your face while scenes in Alaska are often at a distance.
