Description
Very near entrance to Zion National Park in Springdale Utah is a museum. At rear of building you have a clear unobstructed view of these mountains. Photographers gather early to pick a spot to view and photograph the show. Before the sun actually rises all you will see are distant beams of light from headlamps and flashlights. When the sun rises and begins to illuminate the tops of these mountains you will be treated to some magic that you will never forget. Minute to minute the colors change and so does the position that light is playing itself upon. It is a wild dance of colors, shapes and shadows that at times is hard to keep up with. The morning I was there I was in the company of maybe 15 to 20 others most of them there to photograph while the others were keeping them company. No alterations to color were made to this photo. It is as I saw it.
