Sheep find refuge from predators that can't maneuver on these rocky cliffs as agilely as they can. In Denali National Park chief predators would be bears and wolves. As seen in this photo their white coats stand out easily especially when the colors of fall are ablaze so finding safe ground is essential to their survival.

My body of work ranges from photographic digital art to the more traditional use of a camera photographing scenes of landscapes and everyday life. My photography has its roots going back to my experiences with infrared film. It was there that I saw how an image could be manipulated to something much more different than what was first seen. I still compose some photos from the infrared spectrum only now I use a camera converted to IR. When digital came along it was an easy move to software and all the possibilities that were and are now possible with their use. Still the initial composition in camera is paramount and once the shutter is closed and image transferred to computer, I can turn my imagination loose and enhance or create...
