Artist's Description

Sheep find refuge from predators that can't maneuver on these rocky cliffs as agilely as they can. In Denali National Park chief predators would be bears and wolves. As seen in this photo their white coats stand out easily especially when the colors of fall are ablaze so finding safe ground is essential to their survival.
Dall sheep are closely related to the bighorn sheep of the Rocky Mountains. They are one of the primary reasons for the establishment of Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska
