Artist's Description

Forksville is located in rural Sullivan County in a very scenic area of North Central Pa and the Endless Mountains. Very nearby is Worlds End State Park and is a site that day hikers or those who are backpacking the 59.2 mile long trail make a point to visit.
The covered bridge spans the Loyalsock Creek and is situated between some older buildings a church and a General store and restaurant that is a historic landmark and is approximately 160 years old..
Within walking distance are the fairgrounds that is home to the Sullivan County Fair. Many activities are held throughout the year including an art festival that is conducted around the height of the Fall Foilage, a Lumberjack competition and many more.
Constructed in 1850 by Sadler Rogers it is well maintained and is one of only three
covered bridges still in use in Sullivan County. More of my work can be viewed within my galleries here in FAA.

Still the initial composition in camera is paramount and once the shutter is closed and image transferred to computer, I can turn my imagination loose and enhance or create...
