Artist's Description
While walking along "The Marginal Way" a popular historic walking trail I spotted this pool of water and climbed down to it to get this shot. The trail itself is about one mile long and treats you to some spectacular Maine cliff scenes as well as beaches and many varieties of plants and vegetation as well as some gnarly old trees that frame the ocean and passing sailboats.
I have been to Maine many times now but this peaceful nature walk is at the top of my favorite places to visit. It is situated between the seaside communities of Ogunquit and Perkins Cove where you can refresh yourself with some cool drinks and tasty meals at the Oarweed restaurant either indoors or on their deck overlooking the rocky shore.
I and my wife were travelling with fellow photographers and their spouses, all of us from Northeastern Pennsylvania and the men all members of Northeast Photography Club Scranton Pennsylvania.More photos from our entire trip to Maine can be seen at http://www.nephotoclub....
