Artist's Description
After hiking to the balanced rock formation. This was the scene that nature presented to us near sundown. Within the Big Bend National Park, near Alpine Texas are the Grapevine Hills. To get to the balanced rock site, you must travel about 7 miles on a very rough gravel road, that is best driven on with a 4 wheel drive vehicle. This scene was photographed using a converted Sony camera to Infrared, then worked on in Photoshop.
