Artist's Description
I was last at Lake Bistineau in January 2016. The lake had been drained as it has been for the past 6 years. Lake Bistineau Louisiana has been drained to kill off the invasive plant known as Giant Salvinia. The plant takes over whatever body of water it invades. It resembles a thick dirty green carpet.
