Description
Some are content to watch the world go by their windows, and at the same time life is passing them by as well. It can take courage to join in the risk of contact with others who may reject or disapprove of you. But the rewards far outweigh any of the fears your imagination can produce.
You don't have to start rock climbing or jumping out of airplanes, simply go out the door and smile at someone. Their will be a good feeling when that smile is returned! Go someplace where the activity is such that you become an active participant. Listen to the music of life! Walk and take in all that surrounds. Open yourself up to chance encounters with people who will surprise you with their willingness to break the monotony of their own silence.
To entomb yourself in a cocoon will eventually strangle you as it methodically limits and immobilizes.
Take a peek out your window and explore the possibilities, volunteer where there is a need, you will be welcomed! Assist when opportunity presents and you will be thanked.
The world is waiting for you! What are you waiting for?
