Description
Continuum is a sequence of elements similar but not identical to each other though at the extreme edge they may be distinct. Einstein theorized that time was not constant but was affected by motion. Barely detectable here on earth but in space it was magnified to the extent that past, present and future were constant. The image presented here is how I as a layman view his theory. I see the progression of boulders passing inexorably through time. My photo was made in California at the Alabama Hills located in Lone Pine California. The hills and fantastic looking rock formations are all within sight of the Sierra Nevada. The area has been a favorite of Hollywood TV shows and films. The Lone Ranger television series was filmed here as was "The Three Godfathers" starring John Wayne. When exploring this area the formations are going to inspire your mind to imagine all sorts of scenarios especially at sunset when the light is playing upon them. Photo was made using an infrared camera. Post processing was used to create the reflection and slight amplitude to suggest water. Then some more adjustments through software to adjust color and hue. More of my art from this area as well as other locations may be viewed here in my collections at https://1-jim-cook.pixels.com/index.html?tab=galleries
