Description
Fury as described is unrestrained wild or violent anger. In Greek mythology fury was one of three Goddesses who executed curses on the guilty. Eumenides was the name given to the furies but somewhere in time the meaning became confused because the Latin derivative of Eumenides means the gracious ones. Greek origin of the name means the kindly ones or the well minded ones. The Eumenides is the 3rd part of Aeschylus' great trilogy "Oresteia" and is the genesis for Greek Drama as known today.
