Description
Unknown likeness of someone who's imagination or memory deemed her to be worthy enough that it be carved in stone. I came upon her statue in Chauvin Louisiana. It was there among other stonework's depicting scenes from history including slavery, the jazz scene and biblical events and many more. Carved by Kenny Hill a local man who disappeared after a disagreement with local authorities on how the property was being maintained. Years later the property was obtained by Nicholls State University who owns maintains the public park. More of my work from this site can be viewed in my collection titled Louisiana or follow this link https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/1-jim-cook.html?tab=artworkgalleries&artworkgalleryid=702486
